Stay in a French château, learn in a tiny group of no more than three, explore markets, villages, artisans and local culture, and use your French in the moments that make a language finally feel real.

A different kind of French immersion
Not a language school. Not a packaged tour.
This experience is for people who already have some French behind them and are ready to move beyond exercises and textbooks.
We’ll study in the morning, but the real learning continues when we leave the lesson: at the market, over coffee, with an artisan, in a village, at a museum, ordering lunch or simply chatting about what we’ve seen.
The aim is not to rush through a syllabus. It is to give you time to listen, speak, notice, ask questions and live in French with support when you need it.
Think of it as living in France for a little while with a knowledgeable local host, rather than being processed through a tour programme.
French happens everywhere
Lessons are only the beginning.
Markets, cafés, local people, workshops, villages, food, museums and spontaneous discoveries all become part of the learning experience.
The 2027 programme
Three weeks. Three different chapters of French life.
Each week follows the same relaxed rhythm: five programmed days from Tuesday to Saturday, with Sunday and Monday free. Activities may shift slightly for weather, local festivals, markets or special events.

Sunday 12, Monday 13, Sunday 19, Monday 20, Sunday 26, Monday 27 are free days for relaxing at the château or exploring independently.
Your home during the immersion
Stay somewhere that feels like France.
You’ll stay in a French château with your own private bedroom and time to enjoy the property, gardens and animals between activities.
Mornings begin simply with a light breakfast. In the evening, we come back to something easy and French: perhaps soup, fresh bread, cheese or charcuterie.
This is not a luxury hotel experience. The appeal is the setting, the atmosphere, the slower rhythm and the feeling of actually spending time in France rather than merely passing through it.

The group
Maximum three French participants. Small enough for genuine conversation, personal attention and flexibility throughout the week.
Travelling as a couple?
Your partner can come too but without joining the programme!
If you want the French immersion and your spouse or partner would simply enjoy spending time in France, you don’t have to choose between the two.
A companion can share your bedroom, breakfast and light evening supper while spending the day independently. They can relax at the château, explore the area or make their own plans while you take part in the French programme.
It’s an easy way for couples to enjoy a longer stay in France even when only one person wants the language immersion.
